The Atlanta, Georgia Fire-Rescue and Atlanta Police are investigating a deadly accident involving a construction worker. The incident happened at a construction site in midtown Atlanta, Georgia. The victim JoJo Herlitz, 49 years-old, has been identified as the Batson Cook Construction worker who fell over 30 feet at the Masquerade Club located at 695 North Avenue. Randy Hall, the company’s president, says there was an equipment accident on the site late Friday afternoon and that they’re cooperating with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) as it investigates. Employees on scene told officers that they called 911 after he had become unresponsive. At this time, police believe there are no signs of foul play related to this incident.
